Student Challenge Bowl starts at 5:00pm

Teams of two students (graduate or undergraduate) from University or College are invited to enter Denver Geophysical Society and Society of Exploration Geophysicists Student Challenge Bowl Student Challenge Bowl on Tuesday, February 21st at Schlumberger's in the Key Bank building.

Geological, Geophysical and SEG related questions are asked in multiple-choice, true or false and fill in the blank format. Each round eliminates 1 team till the last team is standing and the winners are declared! First Prize Winners will receive a trip to the International Student Challenge Bowl at the SEG Exposition in Houston, Texas 2017!  Includes airfare, hotel, and 4-day pass to exposition.

Please Note: 16 teams maximum permitted - registration closes after the first 16 teams are accepted. If more than 8 teams register, there will be elimination rounds prior to the start of the Bowl.  Information on elimination rounds will be distributed to teams prior to the Bowl. 

Registration MUST be received no later than Tuesday, February 14th, 2017.  Individuals interested in participating are welcome to register as an individual but may be matched up with another individual dependent upon team availability.
